A play by Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, True Blood, American Beauty)
Presented by Shreveport Little Theatre and Directed by Robert Alford II
Five very different bridesmaids find themselves hiding together in a bedroom, hoping to escape the wedding reception of a bride they soon realize none of them really like! These five disparate, but identically dressed women slowly become friends as they talk, laugh, argue, cry, and console one another.
Five Women Wearing the Same Dress has very strong language and mature themes, including sex, sexism, sexual identity, homophobia, privilege, child abuse, substance abuse, and sexual assault.
