She was born and raised in Coushatta, which is the parish seat of rural Red River Parish in North Louisiana, and attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My career as a Realtor began in September 2018. I have been a Realtor for four years at Diamond Realty and Associates. Prior to September 2018, I was a dental hygienist for 15 years, with a master’s degree in health administration. My plan was to transition slowly out of hygiene and into a Realtor position gradually. However, that was not God’s plan. In November 2018, I was involved in an auto accident where I was hit head-on. My neck was injured, causing severe neck pain, and required neck surgery to correct. Now I am fully healed and have reached goals as a Realtor that some only dream about achieving. I am reminded to this day that God is ALWAYS in control. His plan was greater than my own!

Prior to real estate, I spent the first part of my career in outside sales and network marketing. Having been part of the network marketing world, connecting with people comes naturally to me. My career in real estate began in 2007, but I was not in a chapter of my life where I could pursue it the way I wanted to and do today. Fast forward to 2019, I was very successful in Network Marketing, and a local realtor noticed my presence in the social media world and asked if I could help with her social media. Brittany Shepherd has been selling real estate in the Northwest Louisiana area for over seven years. Born and raised in Shreveport, she is very familiar with the local market.
