A Louisiana native and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Yves obtained his B.A. in Criminal Justice from Northeast Louisiana University, and subsequently entered the work force, prior to attending Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he obtained his Juris Doctor.
