Leah Thelen’s sixth grade class is like a box of chocolates. When you open her classroom door, you never know what you’ll get.
You might see the students creating songs, dances, and rhymes for grammar. They could be Skyping with another sixth grade geography class somewhere in the U.S. as they ask questions to determine their mystery location.
Sunday, January 28 from 1-3 p.m.
Leah Thelen, of Southfield School, is in her 18th year of teaching and her eighth year at Southfield. In her class — and throughout Southfield — a love of reading is pervasive.
