STATE FAIR OF LOUISIANA

Oct. 25 – Nov. 11

The 112th annual State Fair of Louisiana will take place at the Louisiana State Fairgrounds in Shreveport with live entertainment including a mix of well-known country, gospel, zydeco, hip-hop and rock music performers. Live music headliners will include: Jeter Jones and Cupid, the Navy Pride Band, Ole Whiskey Revival and Cody Cooke and the Bayou Outlaws, 69 Boyz and Ying Yang Twins, La Energía Norteña, Gospel Mega Fest 2018, and T-Broussard and the Zydeco Steppers. General gate admission is $12 and parking at Louisiana State Fairgrounds is $5. Attracting more than 400,000 people each year, the State Fair of Louisiana also hosts the largest carnival and livestock show in the state.

TASTE: A FESTIVAL OF FOOD AND ART

Nov. 1

From classic Louisiana staples like jambalaya to authentic Mexican delights, TASTE boasts more than 30 local restaurants and chefs under one roof. Your ticket or sponsorship allows you to taste as many delights as you like, including beer and wine samples. A cash bar is also available.

MOVIES IN THE PARK

Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23

Movies in the Park will take place at 5 p.m. in Windrush Park on Nov. 2, 9, 16 and 23. Join the Provenance Community for movies and food trucks. This is a family fun event so bring blankets or chairs for sitting on the lawn. The Provenance is located less than a mile east of the I-49 Interchange at Southern Loop between Wallace Lake and Norris Ferry Roads. Admission is free.

MOSCOW BALLET’S GREAT RUSSIAN NUTCRACKER

ROCKETS OVER THE RED
