• 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. Savoie’s Rice Dressing Mix
  • 2 cups cooked long grain rice – allow to cool after cooking
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 large bell pepper
  • 3 stalks celery
  • salt and red pepper to taste


Brown ground meat, onions, bell pepper and celery in about a half cup of olive oil until fully cooked. Add Savoie’s Rice Dressing Mix and cook on low to medium fire for about 1 hour, checking occasionally to make sure it doesn’t stick to the bottom of the pot. Add cooked rice a little at a time until you like the rice to meat ratio.
