In the famous words of Tim Gunn — “make it work!” On Thursday during SB Fashion Week, we turned to our local designers for a fabulous showdown on the runway at artspace in Shreveport modeled after the television design competition, Project Runway. Our own version — Project Broadway — payed homage to this years Christmas in the Sky theme, Broadway.

The big winner of the evening was designer Cookie DuBois with Cookie DuBois Clothing. Her design was inspired by Wicked. Whitney Warren, who designed a Mean Girls inspired look, won our People’s Choice award which was unveiled Saturday night during SBFW.

The night also included a min-marketplace with local jewelry and accessory designers, plus a complementary beauty bar experience with a number of professionals from Shreveport/Bossier CIty.
