Zach Shadinger, a Bossier City-based personal injury and criminal defense attorney, handles every case himself. “ I am my only employee. I know everything about every case that I have. When a client calls to discuss their case, they talk to me,” said Shadinger, a Springhill native who graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law School. “Every client is important to me, and I count on my clients’ business just like my clients count on me.”
Everyone who seeks his assistance receives his respect— and his honesty. “I feel that a lawyer should be loyal, dependable, knowledgeable, hard-working and prompt,” Shadinger said. “I strive to bring resolution to my clients’ cases as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality.”
Shadinger can’t imagine doing anything else. “I wake up every day excited to go to work,” he said. “I fully understand that as a lawyer, I have a platform to truly help people. There is no better feeling than being able to tell a client that I have achieved the result they were hoping for.”
He credits his successes to his faith in God. “It would be easy to say, ‘look at me and how good I am,’ but I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t make God a priority in my life and in my business. When you put God first, family, work and everything else seems to fall into place.”
Zach’s outgoing personality allows him to work well with others who have different viewpoints than him. He isn’t afraid to jump into his cases headfirst, and that mentality is what wins clients’ hearts — and cases.
Zach lives in Benton with his wife, Meagan, their two boys, Lincoln and Ritt, and dogs, Paisley and Monroe. They are active members of Cypress Baptist Church. When not working, Zach enjoys deer and duck hunting with friends.
“I frequently tell people on opposing sides, ‘we can go to trial if you want. I’ve won cases and I’ve lost cases, but at the end of the day, no matter the outcome, my clients know that I had their back and my wife and boys still love me,” Shadinger said.
