Personal Injury • Auto Accidents • Wrongful Death

Josh Clayton graduated from Byrd High School, Louisiana State University, and LSU Law School.  He clerked for the McKernan Law Firm in Baton Rouge, learning from experienced attorneys how to properly represent injured clients.

As an associate attorney at the Hammond law firm of Anderson & Boutwell, Josh fought for plaintiffs in personal injury and workers’ compensation litigation.  Tom Anderson and Gary Boutwell abide by the highest ethical standards in advocating for injured clients.  Providing efficient and effective representation, the two mentors taught Josh that clients are a firm’s most valuable assets.

After moving back to his hometown and opening a general practice in 2008, Josh joined the Bossier Parish Public Defender Office on a part-time basis, spending four years in criminal courtrooms defending indigent men and women facing all types of criminal charges.  Since 2013, Josh has grown his private practice to solely focus on serious personal injury cases.

Josh is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Shreveport Bar Association, the Bossier Bar Association, Louisiana Association for Justice, the Harry V. Booth / Judge Henry A. Politz Inn of Court, and the Council for a Better Louisiana Leadership Class of 2018.  He was selected in 2015 by the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Initiative as a “40 Under 40” recipient.  He serves as Board Chairman of Junior Achievement of Northwest Louisiana and on the Board of the Caddo Council on Aging.  He is a proud member of the Riverbend Rotary Club and is active in Community Renewal International.
