Shreveport-Bossier City restaurants, bars tap into national trend

Do you love to impress friends with random factoids? Are you the queen of knowledge? Do you ponder the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? Well, if you feel like you are the smartest person when it comes to “useless” facts, you need to get yourself to a trivia night ASAP.

Yes, many bars and restaurants around Shreveport-Bossier City have hosted trivia nights for years, but the trend has truly exploded recently. Some bars partner up with trivia organizations like Know-It-All Trivia, others simply host their own weekly trivia nights. Either way, Shreveport-Bossier City doesn’t lack for nightly trivia options.

Here are 11 trivia spots that will allow you to flex your mental muscle & give you something fun to do almost any night of the week:

Red River Brewing lets you extend the weekend just a little bit with an afternoon of self-esteem lifting (or crushing) trivia. This semi-monthly event welcomes hardcore trivia enthusiasts and claims the questions are “unapologetically challenging.” Be sure to get there early, as teams fill up fast (especially depending on what’s going on that weekend and if they are hosting a theme night). The categories are a mix: music, movies, pop culture and history. Winners receive $15 vouchers, which can be used as payment at the bar.
