Speakeasy: A 1920s Prohibition Party was held at Norton Art Gallery, celebrating the opening of Norton’s latest exhibition Scarlett Passions: Bellocq’s Storyville. Guests dressed as flappers and Dapper Dans to participate in the gallery opening of the New Orleans red light district exhibit. The roaring 20s themed evening included a buffet, cash bar, live music by the Slydell Jazz Band, photo gallery, Vaudeville shows by The Marvelous Misfits and a burlesque show in Norton’s Speakeasy Basement.
