A team of 18 local designers volunteer their time and talents to convert Harrah’s Louisiana Downs into a dreamy portrayal of the event theme. The biennial event is attended by guests from all across the country and includes auctions, live performances, bars and buffets.
Louisiana Film Prize
Twenty-one short films made in northwest Louisiana compete for the largest cash prize awarded for a short film in the world — $50,000. During the weekend-long festival, viewers watch the films and vote on the winner.
