From Britney’s perspective:

“Christian and I met when I was 13, an eighth grader at Greenacres Middle School and he was 14, a freshman at Benton High School. He took me on my first date and we continued dating for a couple months after. We parted ways for many years, remaining distant friends and seldomly talking and bumping into each other from time to time through mutual friends. A few years past and we both graduated high school. I had just finished my first semester at BPCC and he was a year into his apprenticeship program. I was driving down the road one day and he passed me in his diesel truck intentionally switching his gears to smoke out my car. Shortly after, I texted him and from that day forward, we never skipped a beat.

On Dec. 17, 2016, we attended the annual Walker Christmas Party and during the game of dirty Santa, Christian picked me as his gift, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. One month later, we got a sweet surprise. We were expecting a little bundle of joy. We had already put an offer down on a home and on Feb.6, 2017 we closed on our cozy first home in South Bossier. On Sept. 14, 2017, we gave birth to our perfect, healthy little boy, Eli Keith, who is the absolute joy of our lives. We can’t wait to finally tie the knot in November.”

Britney is a stay-at-home mom and part-time hair and makeup artist and is the daughter of Mike and Darlene Roland, of Bossier City. Christian works in the oil and gas industry and is the son of Brian and Amy Walker, of Benton.

Britney and Christian will be married on Nov. 3, 2018 at the home of Christian’s parents. A reception there will follow.
