History repeated itself Thursday at the 2nd annual “History on Tap” beer tasting event hosted by Shreveport DDA, Shreveport Regional Arts Council, Robinson Film Center, the Lofts@624, Heliopolis SBC and Glazer’s Distributors.

Attendees visited four historic sites in downtown Shreveport — artspace, Robinson Film Center, Central Artstation and the Zodiag Building.

Each location featured a selection from 32 beers paired with 32 historic buildings in downtown Shreveport. Participants were given souvenirs that included a beer bottle opener and @Loft624 miniature 2-ounce pilsner that was used for sampling.

History on Tap was a free event with the mission to encourage locals to keep in mind what downtown Shreveport offers for dining, drinking and entertainment.
