Guests will enjoy entertainment provided by fire spinner Marcos Rangel of Spinner Entertainment, The Port Belly Project and Cyr wheel acrobat Frank Chapman. There will also be a parkour jumper on site.

Stephanie Lusk, director of the museum, noted that a 6-course dinner by Chef Anthony Felan plus a full, open bar will also be served.

“We really want to pay homage to Marlene Yu and her art and all her different paintings over time,” said Felan. “We’re looking at the elements of her paintings, her background in Taiwan — merging that with a southern inspired Taiwanese menu.”

While the menu is still under wraps, he made sure to mention a pork belly dish with a lotus bun.

Tickets are $125 and can be purchased online at marleneyumuseum.org. RSVP by Sept. 22 for two free raffle tickets. The event from 6-9 pm on Saturday, Sept. 30.
