Born and raised in Monticello, Arkansas, his radio voice comes completely natural to him. You may not guess that at one point in his career, he was selling insurance and had a paper route because meeting him and hearing him speak proves that he is obviously meant for mass communications.

Early Riser
He began his career in radio at the early age of 15 when he’d start his day out at the local station. From 6:00 a.m. until about 7:45 a.m., he’d play songs and do commercials, then he’d leave for school. He fell in love with radio and continued toward his dream career. Along the way, he became a weekend television sports anchor at Channel 6, the sports director at Channel 3 and eventually landed his own sports radio show a few years ago.

Unique to the Business
Along with the sports scoop, he brings his home life to his radio show. Tune in, and you’ll know exactly who he is as a person. You’ll hear about his kids, his wife, flat tires, bad meals, embarrassing things that happen to him and more. He does not hold back, and is 100 percent real all the time, which is what listeners tend to love about him. He has a strong appreciation for high school athletics because his high school sports career shaped him into the person he is today. “My mission is to shine the spotlight on the efforts of those students, coaches, teachers and principals; folks who are really basically raising children in our area,” he said.

Online Presence
He’s got a strong social media presence. You may already be following him on Facebook and Twitter, but if you’re not, you will be once his identity is revealed.
