From the perspective of Macy:

“We met through mutual friends. Through the years, we went on several beach trips together with their family. These trips brought us closer together each time. On the 4th of July, 2015, Nicholas and I began this wonderful journey. On March 18, 2017, we welcomed our handsome son into the world, Maverick Law Stanford. The following year on my birthday, March 16, Nicholas asked me to be his wife and share our son’s last name.”

Macy is a fourth-grade elementary school teacher at North Webster Upper Elementary in Cotton Valley and is the daughter of Patrick Turgeon, of Springhill, and Tammy Turgeon, of Sarepta. Nicholas works for Trey Maxwell Logging and is the son of Brad Stanford and Susan Law Rich, both of Springhill.

Macy and Nicholas plan to be married on September 29, 2018 in their pasture in Shongaloo. A reception will follow at the Springhill Country Club.

Fun fact: Macy’s father is a jeweler at Banks Jewelers in Camden, Ark. and created her one-of-a-kind white gold engagement ring, a treasure she’ll always cherish.
